Founder & Managing Principal

Hill Development Group was founded on a simple conviction: that the world's most compelling luxury resort assets are frequently held by owners who lack the operational focus, brand relationships, or capital coordination to unlock their full potential.

Matthew brings a principal's perspective to every transaction — combining disciplined deal structuring with hands-on relationship management across sellers, operators, capital partners, and luxury brand executives in global luxury hospitality markets. His approach is defined by deep asset-level research, creative transaction design, and the ability to assemble best-in-class teams around each opportunity.

Prior to founding Hill Development Group, Matthew built his career at the intersection of sales, marketing, and business development — disciplines that translate directly to the relationship-intensive work of hospitality acquisition and repositioning.
